Reaching Salesforce Summit Tier: Energy, skills and effort

All Case Studies > Reaching Salesforce Summit Tier: Energy, skills and effort

Most climbers will tell you the best part about scaling a mountain is the moment where you reach the top. That pure sense of accomplishment, the release of endorphins after a gruelling climb, and the reward of sweeping vistas that await you.

For years now, we’ve been steadily ascending towards Summit Tier status as a longterm Salesforce partner — and now we’re proud to say we’ve finally made it.

But for us, as satisfying as it is to find yourself at the pinnacle of something, it’s the climb itself where we learn, grow, and work as one to bring the dream alive.

Achieving Summit Tier status holds a lot of meaning for each and every person here at Cloudwerx.

It represents, as a business, the amount of energy, effort, skills, and investment we’ve put into reaching the goal together. We all understand that it’s not an easy milestone to make (or fake), it’s a true reflection of hard work, a commitment to social impact goals, and most importantly — satisfied customers.

So, we sat down with Cloudwerx Commercial Director Andy Pattinson to get the lowdown on how we arrived here, how we’ll stay, and what it means for our customers moving forward.

The meaning

Andy knows better than most the ins and outs of Summit Tier certification.

It’s an ongoing process from day one of registering with Salesforce as a partner,” explains Andy.

“It’s effectively like a giant scorecard, where over the course of days, weeks, months and even years, we make sure that every employee is registered properly and tagged against our business to help demonstrate ongoing success.”

It’s that micro-level focus that’s necessary in meeting all the criteria of Summit Tier. And if you take your eye off the ball, it’s easy to fall behind.

“It’s something that demands attention to be maintained,” continues Andy. “So it’s all about momentum and knowing that we’re only as good, or as bad, as our last project.”

A sense of validation

Our mission has always driven our day to day activity. We aim to be a place where people aspire to work, we aim to transform businesses for the better, and we aim to keep customers for life.

Summit Status reinforces to us how all the moving pieces are working as they should.

Andy agrees: “It’s a complex process to reach this point, but now that we have the scale and depth to deliver on our promises, it’s also a validation of where we’re at, and where we’re heading.”

We’ve made a habit of punching above our weight, and with our recent rapid growth, it’s a positive indicator that we’re making the right moves at the right time.

But we’ll never lose that attention to detail and people-oriented approach we’ve built our whole offering around. Even as we keep growing, that boutique, service-focused outlook will remain constant.

“Much of this speaks to the quality of the work we’re doing and that we’re investing in the right areas as a result,” adds Andy.

Our customers win

So what does all of this mean for our customers?

While reaching Summit Status is a great moment we’ll savour, the positive outcomes for our current and future clients is what we’re most pleased about.

“With 718 certifications as a regional Salesforce partner, there are few direct competitors that would have the same level of expertise spread across their operations as we do,” says Andy.

“If a potential customer is evaluating Salesforce partners to work with, our scorecard comes into play thanks to our deep talent pool of certified experts with over 700 certifications, our completed projects and 4.8/5.0 star customer rating.”

All of this adds up to Cloudwerx being in a great position to offer our services to more people, in more places, with an even greater level of endorsement from Salesforce.

A bag of milestones

Achieving Salesforce Summit status is the latest in a long line of industry-recognised milestones for Cloudwerx.

Following on from our Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award last month (where we came in at #18 with 900% growth!), and our recent accreditation as a ‘Great Place to Work’ in both Australia and India for 2022, our focus remains on growing our core business — tracing the goals of tomorrow for our customers and turning them into the realities of today.

Because it’s the meaning behind these milestones that really matters to us. It speaks to the commitment and drive of everyone in the Cloudwerx family as we work towards being our best.

Cloudwerx is, and always has been, the sum total of its parts. The people who are our team members, customers, and partners have all pulled their weight in the expedition to Summit Tier.

Thank you to each and every one of you!
